The issue that really matters to me is giving a voice to the voiceless. This group includes the poor and the youthful youth. I became aware about this through my work as a journalist as most of the issues that are being covered by the media concern people that are already in the limelight and leave out the grassroots. I started radio programmes featuring only children for them to have a voice of their own. I am also recording Oral Testimonies from ordinary people in the villages. Issues have... ( lire plus...)

A historia dos grandes lideres e o trabalho incansavel de quem luta e conquista mudancas que fazem o mundo melhor sao sempre inspiradores, mas as vezes me parecem tao distantes! Eu procuro inspiracao nas coisas mais simples: um solzinho na janela de manha, o sorriso de uma crianca no onibus, abrir o jornal e ver ao menos uma noticia boa, sentir o cheiro familiar de cafe quente, ouvir alguem falar de seus planos, uma musica alto-astral, um passeio por uma rua que eu nao conhecia antes... tudo... I'm inspired by ideas, innovation, enthusiasm, creativity and thinking outside the box. I find my inspiration in good books, interactions with friends, websites, and other people's stories. The thing that inspires me most is when someone gets really excited about an issue, and then goes about addressing the issue in a way that's never been done before, combining creativity, efficiency and beauty.
